Today was the Moms’ Christmas shopping in
the city trip; so my day was extra busy – and not nearly as much fun as their
play day in Crystal Springs was!
Michael and I helped with the breakfast
buffet before school; we had a quiet day there except for some bonus fun
outdoors thanks to another weather day that topped out in the low-seventies;
and then we had some play time after school with Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and
Aiden before leaving them with Dad and getting to work at the Inn to help with
the dinner rush that Jacob and Jake were handling while their favorite girls
were in the city. No, Stephanie is not a
Mom, but she went along with her Mommy and mother-in-law to have some fun too.
I brought Michael home with me after the
main rush was done; we studied, had a music practice, and a visit with Mom,
Dad, and the twins after Mom got home; and then Michael went home while I came
up to my room and got to work. That was
a lot of hours ago, which is why this is going to be a Grinchy-short update.
That sounds good for my Christmas song pick
for the day too, so let’s go with that; and then I’ll move on and get started
on my nap.
