I ended up working the breakfast shift at
the Inn; spent the morning helping out at home after that with seeing our
departing guests on their way and then helping with the clean-up; and then I’ve
spent the rest of the day playing with Ethan, Ehlana, our cousins, and some
friends.
That’s included a trail ride around town
and at the park; a picnic lunch there too; lots of swimming to cool off; an ice
cream break at the Emporium; and a barbeque, baseball practices, and campfire
evening. We’re also doing a cousins’
camping adventure tonight; so this update is coming to you from my tent. I have Jaimie, Brianna, and Faith with me;
they’re all sleeping now; and I’ve been working on my computer for a few hours
now.
The family business job needed to be done,
but I have that caught up now, and need to get some sleep while I can; so I
think that’s all I’ll have for you tonight.
We have more teen and kid adventures ahead
of us through the rest of the week, but I also need to do a fair bit of work
too; so I’m not sure how much of the kid entertainment I’ll be able to help out
with – though I will help out with Brianna’s birthday fun on Saturday for sure –
even though I’ll be working some of the time too. That’s just one more thing that I can write
about with future daily updates, and I really do need to crash and nap now; so,
