Long, lazy summer days – who has time for
them!
I worked all morning; Michael and I played
all afternoon with the twins, Naomi, and Aide.
They’re all camping in Naomi’s back yard tonight – in one tent. Michael and I talked our way out of it
because it’s hot out and I didn’t really want to do it; and they convinced
Naomi’s parents that they were grown up enough to camp on their own – but not
too grown up to have co-ed camping. ;^)
The afternoon play time was a bit too hot
too, but we cooled off in the river regularly; and had ice cream treats from
the Emporium twice. Mom made up an early
dinner of cold salads and mini subs; she went to Ehlana’s and Naomi’s ball
practice; and I was at the park again with Rowen while Michael and Tim had
their football workout. They don’t, by
the way, have a very big turnout for that yet, but Michael won’t be able to do
the workouts for the rest of the week either; since he’ll be working all of the
dinner shifts through until Sunday night.
He came home with me after the post-football swim; we watched a movie in
the lounge and had a minor make-out session; and then he went home because he’s
working the breakfast shift in the morning too.
Mom did a Magi lesson with me after that; we took Silkie for a bedtime
walk; and then split up and headed for our rooms for the night after that; and
we each spent some quality time in our tubs.
I ended up multi-tasking some work that
popped up while doing my email check, but that wasn’t anything major; and this
update is all I have left to get done before crashing and napping.
I’d say that’s taken care of too, since I
don’t have anything else to add; so, until next time...
