Ethan:
We might have had a partial co-ed camping
night – if you include the fact that Naomi and I had a nap together after she
and Ehlana came over to our tent last night to hang out with us for a bit
longer. Ehlana and Aiden cut us some
slack and didn’t report that to the parents and siblings, but then we didn’t
sleep for very long before waking up again – and the girls did spend the rest
of the night in their tent.
Tai Chi by the river was fun; and breakfast
for ten was even better with Michael, Tim, and Rowen all joining us for that
meal before heading out on their shopping trip to Crystal Springs. We – the four remaining kids – needed to pack
up our campground after that; Naomi and Aiden moved on for the rest of the
morning while Ehlana and I biked over to the lab to play there until lunchtime;
and then we were home for that before going out to play with our friends for
the afternoon.
I don’t have any news from the biking,
swimming, and playground action; we had a quiet dinner at home; and then Ehlana
had her ball practice after that; and Aiden and I biked the trails while the
girls were busy with that and Mom and Dad both continued to work ahead so they
can take the weekend off for Cassie’s big move.
Cassie got back to town by eight o’clock or so – though she had to make
stops and Tim’s and Rowen’s houses first before coming here and getting Mom’s
van unloaded. We had a bedtime snack and
visit after that; and then it was time to head up to our rooms for the night.
Even with my nap with Naomi, I still didn’t
get a lot of sleep last night, and the next four or five days are going to be
very busy; so I’m going to wrap this up now and get the extra sleep tonight –
just in case we don’t get to do that for the rest of the week. The countdown to the start of Cassie’s
college adventures is on; and I’m fairly-sure that it’s going to feel as though
we’re in a time-phase – with the rest of the town going on as normal while we’re
in hyper-time mode.
Stay tuned; there’s a lot more to come over
the next week or two!
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
My best friend might want to think about a
career in acting!
Yes, Naomi, I know that you did eventually
have a nap while cuddling with Ethan last night, but you were totally faking it
at first; and trying to keep the cuddle time going.
With that said; they’re also adorable; and
I love them both a lot! ;^)
Cassie’s shopping trip to the city was the
family news of the day, but we had fun here before she left with Michael, Tim,
and Rowen; the play time at the lab was great; and our afternoon of sun and fun
with our friends kept us busy and entertained until dinnertime. Naomi and I had a good baseball practice;
Ethan and I did a Magi lesson with Mom after we got home; and we helped out
when it was time to unload the minivan once Cassie got home again. Add in a bedtime snack and chat; and that’s
pretty much all of my news for today. We
were up late last night, so I need the early bedtime – even if I’m not
exhausted from a day of driving and shopping like Cassie is tonight; and that’s
exactly what I’m going to do starting right now!
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
