Ethan:
Ehlana and I are doing a third-floor
sleepover with Aiden and Naomi; so this is going to be a short update.
Our day was a near-repeat of yesterday with
Tai Chi and breakfast for three; a work morning at the lab; and a play afternoon
with our friends. it wasn’t exactly the
same because we had some rain and thunderstorms roll through late this
afternoon and into the evening; so some of that play time was indoors; and then
Naomi and Aiden stayed for dinner and the added sleepover plan. We didn’t even bother to go and get overnight
bags for them – they’re borrowing clothes from us instead. The rain meant that Ehlana and Naomi didn’t
have their ball practice; and that seems a bit strange when compared to the
play day Cassie is having with Michael, Rowen, and Tim. You can read about their stories for the day
elsewhere in the archives, but their play plans for today have likely been
more-fun than ours.
We have still had a good day, though, and
the fun is going to continue with movies and maybe some gaming in the lounge;
so I need to wrap this up and get to the rest of my night. I’ll let you know how the rest of our night
goes for us with the next report.

Ehlana:
What Ethan has already written; and add in
that Naomi is very excited about our move to the third floor. Sure, Cassie’s always let us use the lounge
pretty much whenever we want, but this is different; and Naomi is going to make
sure that we take full-advantage of having a new kid-zone that will likely be
parent-free a lot of the time – including tonight.
Don’t have too much fun with that, since we
are only seven, but I do concede that we’re likely to have my room and the
lounge become the hangout zone for our friends – especially during the winter
and on bad-weather days.
We’re just getting ready for bed ahead of
the sleepover fun that is going to continue with movies and some cuddle time
for Naomi and Ethan; so that’s all I have for tonight.
