Ethan:
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m going to totally skip this update and
either do a double report tomorrow; or leave it to Ehlana to deal with this one
for us.
I just want to get back to having fun; and
don’t expect to have the energy to play with my computer or iPad later. Maybe that says enough about our holiday so
far without writing about all of the details.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
I’ve got you covered tonight, Ethan – and Happy
Thanksgiving to all too!
While we are having an awesome
Thanksgiving, I’m sure that Ethan will be tired out by the time we head for our
beds because he has needed to keep up with the other guys – including Zack; so
he’ll have overloaded on everything from food to video games and football
sooner instead of later. I’ve had an
easier day with the girls, though Brianna’s a handful to keep up with too. The difference is that Brianna is adorable
while Zack can be a Neanderthal – especially when trying to show off to the
other guys or being goaded on by some of our cousins. I don’t want to pick on anyone for that, but
Chris and Martin have been known to offer bad ideas for Zack and laugh at all
of his worst antics.
I’m not going to do a long report, since I
have to get back to the fun too; so let’s get to covering the basics. Tai Chi by the river was fun again today; we
didn’t have Cassie with us for breakfast because she was with Michael and his
family instead; and our meal proved to be a bit quiet by comparison to the rest
of our day. There was some work to be
done, but Ethan and I didn’t have to help out too much before being sent off to
hang out with our cousins. We played for
the rest of the morning; had buffet lunches available at several family homes –
including ours; and then we played all afternoon. It was nice out, so outdoor play time was an
option; and we had trips to the park or elsewhere in groups in addition to the games
and movies in the lounge for the girls and game and sports central fun for the
boys at the Carringtons’ home.
The Thanksgiving dinners were at our house
and Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne’s too, and we were split up with a mix of the families
at each house. We mostly had the younger
girl cousins at our house, and we were in the sunroom while the adults were
split up between the dining room and Kitchen.
There were some boys allowed; and Michael was with Cassie. They were also in the sunroom with us; so we
were all happy to have that time with them.
They were with us for some cameo moments today too, but split their time
up so much that we didn’t actually get to do much with them while they tried to
spend a little time with everyone in all of our combined families.
We’re finished dinner now and I’m just
taking a break before getting back to the play time with the girls; so I guess
that’s everything for now; and I’ll add more if needed with the next update –
or leave that for Ethan. ;^)
This really has been a special family and
friends day; and I hope that the rest of the weekend will be just as
amazing. Stay tuned – or flip a digital
page – to find out while I get back to the holiday adventures.
