Cassie's Journal - November 3, 2017

I know – it’s football night in Witch Falls; a first-round playoff game on top of that; and I had a lot going on today between school and that football game.  We also have SAT’s to go and write in the morning, and Michael and I are going to help out with the breakfast shift prep work before hitting the road to go and do that with all of our classmates; so I’m going to need to make this short and maybe do an update and a half tomorrow night.

We won the game over Westburg by an impressive score of seventy-one to thirty.  Michael had four touchdowns, Tim had five, and we had one scored on a running play.  Our kicking game was off; so we only earned five of ten extra points; and added two field goals late in the game after big defensive turnovers.  Westburg didn’t score any touchdowns, but they did earn ten field goals.  That might sound amazing for us, and it was; but that was also their thing this year – score a lot of field goals and let their defense win games for them.  Their defense wasn’t up to the challenge that Michael and Tim gave them; so we won big and will be moving on into the second round.

Okay, the rest can wait for the next report.  I need to crash and nap before that early-morning work thing and our SAT’s – the second round of them for Michael and me; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
