Ethan:
We’ve had another awesome day!
While we didn’t have Cassie and Michael
with us, I can report that we still had a blast at Quarry Lake with the teens
and parents that were able to take us out to our favorite campground for the
day. We were out there by mid-morning;
played until extra parents came out to have a picnic lunch with us; kept the
fun going all afternoon; and then headed home in time for a barbeque
dinner. Ehlana and Naomi had to eat and
run to their ball practice, but that meal included cousins, friends, and
parents; so it continued on nearly until the girls got home again – or at least
that was true including the clean-up.
Add in an evening canoe ride until sunset; and that’s pretty much it for
my day.
The teens are currently at the pizzeria for
a last food fix for Stefan and Madelana before they head out on their camping
adventure tomorrow, but Ehlana and I weren’t invited along; and we needed baths
before bedtime anyway. I won’t get into
every detail of our play time today. All
that matters to me, as usual, is that we had such a good day with our family
and friends. I’m also exhausted; so it’s
time to wrap this up and crash for the night.

take a longer turn for our next update; since I’m having too much fun with the
tub time to really want to spend time multi-tasking anything else.
