Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - July 24, 2019

Ethan:

Okay, now I’m feeling a bit like we’re having daily déjà vu around here – including the me being tired and ready to crash at the end of the day.

Our schedule today included morning chores at home and a comparatively-short visit to the lab; lunch with Mom; play time with our friends; more wedding-related busy before and after dinner; and then play time at the park during the co-ed ball practice.  Mom fit in a Magi lesson after that with Ehlana and me while Dad got to work in the office; there was a bit more work that was all about packing things to move over to the church or Inn by Friday; and tub or Jacuzzi time for Ehlana and me because getting cleaned up before hopping into our beds was necessary – especially after keeping up with the younger kids at the park tonight.

That’s it for me; so I’ll get on with the crash-and-nap time now.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

Ethan’s skipped over Ryan Bassett’s birthday – Happy Birthday, Ryan!  We weren’t involved in his special day – though Sophia spent some extra time with us while her brother and his buddies were busy with the party.  Michael’s been helping out with that too – including the camping adventure part of the birthday fun, but he’s multi-tasked work at the Inn and helping with the wedding too.

I’ll guess that he’s okay with keeping very busy while waiting for Cassie to get home on Friday – and looking forward to the wedding and honeymoon quite a lot too! ;^)

There really isn’t a lot to add for this update – and we really do seem to be repeating our days, but that’ll change tomorrow; and being done with baseball practices for the week will only be part of that.  We’ll do the final big push to get ready for our weekend guests and some pre-cooking; we’ll wrap up our wedding to-do list except for the jobs that have to wait for Friday and Saturday; and Mom and Dad will finish up their work for the week – or as much of it as they can – before taking three or four days off.  The only change for me from last night is that I’m tired out now too, so let’s wrap this up; and I’ll call it a night and I’ll go with Ethan’s crash-and-nap plan for the rest of the night.

Three more sleeps to go! ;^)

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
