Ethan:
We’re home; doing a camping night with
Ehlana and Naomi – in two tents; and I’m doing this update ahead of the co-ed
baseball practice at the park because we’ll be busy later.
Our morning was busy from Tai Chi through
until we had lunch with Cassie before hitting the road for home. We picked up groceries and supplies to get
Cassie through until a week from Friday; did a few chores at the townhouse; and
then that lunch was a nice blast of fun before we were stuck in the minivan for
a bit less than five hours. Mom had been
home from her visit to the city by lunchtime, so Ehlana and Naomi had spent
time with her – including helping with some chores around the house; we just
finished having a late dinner; and the tents had already been set up by the
time we got home too. I’m glad that we’re
doing that, since I have missed Ehlana and Naomi a lot, but the rest of the
news for today will have to wait, since it’s nearly time to head for the park;
we’re going to be on kid-control duty with our younger cousins and some of
their friends; and then we’re going to hang out together for the rest of the
night without the electronic distractions.
I know, we’re kids, and that might sound
impossible; but we actually can entertain ourselves without video games or
television now and then; and I’ll try not to scare anyone reading this in the
future by suggesting that I’m looking forward to some quality cuddle time with
Naomi too. ;^)
I have to get going now; so that’s all,
folks.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Naomi and I had fun with Tai Chi for two in
her back yard; she came along for the morning play time at the lab after we
helped out with some morning chores at her house first; and then we met up with
my Mom in time for lunch – which was pizzeria pizza and drinks for us and fast
food for Aunt Leanne at the office.
After that, we helped out with unloading the minivan; did some chores;
and then had time to play, bike, and swim for a couple of hours while waiting
for Michael to get home with Ethan and Aiden.
We’ve caught up with them a bit while having dinner, but will do more of
that while camping; and Naomi may or may not be planning on an attempt for
extended cuddle and nap time with Ethan while we hang out together later as we
usually do before we’re supposed to split up for the night.
We really do need to get to the park, and I
still need to drop a few things off in the tent on the way there; so that’s all
I have for tonight too. It’s been a good
day, but better now that my twin is home; and we’re going to have fun together
as we get ready for Cassie and Michael’s wedding a week from Saturday.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
