Ethan:
I only have a few minutes for this update
before getting to the video gaming with Dad, Aiden, Zack, and Caleb.
We had a quiet, busy morning here. After Tai Chi and breakfast, Ehlana and I
helped Mom with the housework while Dad and Cassie did their usual weekend yard
work. We were set free to go and play
when Mom needed to go and help Aunt Leanne and Grandma with the pre-cooking for
Brianna’s birthday picnic at Quarry Lake, and other than being home for lunch;
we stayed out and played until shortly before dinner.
Aiden and Naomi were approved for
sleepovers at our house to help us with Zack, Caleb, and Faith; and having nine
for dinner convinced Mom to order pizzas from River View Pizza. That was a bonus for us; and then we – the guys-
went to play at the park without the girls because Zack likes to annoy them; so
they went to the school playground instead so that they wouldn’t ‘suck all of
the fun’ out of Zack’s life. We’re home
now, the girls are going to have a movie night in the lounge; and I need to get
to the video gaming in the living room.
I’ll add any news from the rest of my night to the next report; but that’s
it for now.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Faith’s having some Jacuzzi time right now,
so Naomi and I are getting the lounge ready for our movie night and sleepover
while Mom’s helping Faith; and I’m multi-tasking this report while I have a few
quiet minutes to do that.
We’ve had a really good day whether we were
helping Mom with the chores this morning or playing with our friends and
cousins during the rest of the day. The
biking and park play time with Naomi, Aiden, and the rest of our friends kept
us busy and entertained before and after lunch until dinnertime; we had pizza
for that meal, so that was good too – if a bit scary with Zack in the house;
and then it was girls’ night at the school playground because Zack decided that
he couldn’t have any fun at the park if Mom, Naomi, Faith, and I went along to
play there instead.
He wasn’t nearly as-amused when they met up
with us on our way home when he found out that he’d missed out on the stop at
the Emporium for ice cream treats, but Mom didn’t leave him stressed out about
that for too long before giving Ethan some money and sending them on to the
Emporium too while we walked the rest of the way home. Cassie’s still at work, so she’ll miss the
first movie, but Mom’s going to do that with us while Dad plays video games
with the guys; and then Cassie will eventually get home for the rest of the
sleepover fun with Naomi and Faith.
I’m glad that we’re getting to do that
tonight, but don’t think we’ll stay up all that late; since we do have Brianna’s
birthday to celebrate tomorrow; and Faith will likely be tired out by the end
of the first movie anyway – even if Zack and Caleb might want to stay up and
party all night. Fortunately for us –
that’s a problem for Dad, Ethan, and Aiden tonight; and I hope it won’t become
a problem for us. That’s always possible
with Zack, but I’ll hope for the best; and get back to having fun with Naomi –
and with Mom and Faith once they get done with the water play time.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
