Ethan:
Mom’s home after her trip to the city – and
not details will be included in this update beyond the news that she was there;
did some supply shopping; and went out to dinner with Dad and the Malloys. All other news is adult-rated; and I don’t
need to know the rest of the story!
Here at home, I had a fun rest of the night
with Aiden; we had a quiet morning at his house because his Dad leaves for work
really early and his Mom follows as soon as she has Aiden and Hailey fed and
ready for the day. She drops Hailey off
at KidZone or elsewhere on the way to the bakery, and Aiden has several options
every day. Today that was hanging out
with Ehlana, Naomi, and me with Naomi’s Dad, Cassie, and Aunt Leanne as our
go-to adult supervisors. We didn’t see
any of them very much because we played at the park for most of the day with
our friends – including having a picnic there too. We had a lot of fun; and missed out on all of
the afternoon work going on around our house to get ready for our incoming cousins. They’ll be here tomorrow night; so our
evening entertainment was a dinner and cooking night that Mom and Cassie
hosted.
Ehlana and I didn’t have to work, but we
did help out with Brianna and Zack while the parents were busy with the cooking
and baking during and after dinner. We
had more park play time with them; played in the back yard and river a bit too;
and then Mom did a Magi lesson with the four of us before Uncle Adam and Aunt
Leanne took Zack and Brianna home for the night. The three girls in the house all wanted some
tub or Jacuzzi time after that; I took Silkie for a quick bedtime walk when my
cousins went home; and I’ve been reading in the archives while Mom, Cassie, and
Ehlana were busy. We’re all heading to
bed now so that we can rest up for the week ahead; though this isn’t really all
that early anyway.
There’s more work to do tomorrow before our
cousins get here, but the fun level is really going to kick up this weekend;
and we have a lot of fun planned for while they’re here on their ‘home town’
vacation visit. I definitely want to be
ready for that; so that’s all for tonight.

Ehlana:
I’m fresh out of my bubble bath; sleepy;
and ready to crash and nap.
We’ve had a fun day, and while Naomi and I
had some challenges with Zack and Eli last night and first thing this morning;
that just helped us out with appreciating the fun with our friends toddy – even
when Miles and Joshua got a bit annoying with their usual bragging and attempts
to always prove that they’re better than girls at everything.
The park play, biking, picnic lunch,
swimming, and everything else we did was great; dinner at home after that with
just Mom, Cassie, Uncle Adam, Aunt Leanne, Zack, and Brianna was pretty good;
and then Ethan and I kept Zack and Brianna entertained while Cassie and the
parents cooked and baked to get ready for our cousins’ arrival tomorrow
night. That round of play time was fun
too; so the was the Magi lesson after the cooking was done for the night; and I’ve
already mentioned the bubble bath. Now
it’s time for that nap; and I’ll need the rest ahead of the work and fun we’ll
have tomorrow – including once our cousins start to get here tomorrow night.
