What are the statistical odds of hitting a bad-news milestone a day after President Biden’s inauguration without having that happen intentionally? We passed the twenty-five million confirmed cases level today – falling short by less than a thousand yesterday. That number isn’t accurate, but it is one of the statistics we have to work with; and it bugs me when it seems that even little lies are routinely used for purely political reasons.
I don’t want to get into any news or political rants tonight – there would be too-much to write about to do that without the help of a lengthy time-phase anyway! Instead of doing that, I’ll just report that we had an awesome home-school day; the weather was great for January; and that’s why we had another outdoor biking and play adventure at the park and on the trails instead of going to the lab or doing anything else. That few hours of exercise and fun with our friends was one of the highlights of our day; and then we came home in time for dinner ahead of a quiet study or work evening in the office for three. Mom did a Magi lesson with us too, but we mostly worked on our ‘real’ studies; moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time by nine – thanks to a time-phase for most of our work; and now it is time to get some sleep.
I want to be ready for our last day of school for the week and the weekend, so that’s all I have for tonight; and I’m out of here and off to dreamland soon.
