Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - December 24, 2018

Christmas Video of the Day!
Happy Christmas Eve Day!  Here’s a double dose of Christmas music for you to enjoy – regardless of what time of year you’re reading this part of our archive journals!

Ethan:

We’ve had an awesome day!  Tai Chi and breakfast for seven was a great way to start our morning; even the guys had fun with the shopping morning – thanks to picking up bakery treats and hanging out in the ‘fun’ stores; and then we had lots of holiday food and play time fun from lunchtime through dinner before heading for the church and the Christmas Eve service.  That play time was with Cassie, May, and the cousins; and then we had some family Christmas fun with Grandma, Grandpa, and the Carringtons for a mini gift exchange that we do on the ‘away’ Christmas years since we can’t do that with Uncle Adam, Aunt Leanne, Zack, and Brianna on Christmas Day while their busy with Uncle Adam’s side of the family.  That was another blast of holiday fun; Ehlana and I had to play normal kids after our guests headed for their homes and got ready for bed and put out the Olde Bakery treats for Sana and the reindeer; Dad did a bedtime Christmas story with us; and then we were sent to bed so that we can be sleeping before Santa gets to our town.

We definitely don’t want to have any last minute problems that could get us into trouble with Santa, so that’s all I have for tonight; since I really need to get to sleep before it’s too late! ;^)

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

The highlights of my Christmas Eve day included Tai Chi and breakfast with Cassie, Michael, and May; all of the shopping with the girls; the play time with our cousins; the church service and Pastor John’s annual Christmas story message; and the gift exchange with our aunt, uncle, and cousins.  That’s pretty much just repeating what Ethan’s already written about, but it isn’t the ‘what’ we’ve been doing that is so special – it’s the ‘who’ we’ve been doing everything with.  We’ve both really, especially-loved getting to spend so much time with Cassie, Michael, and May.  We’ll get to play with them tomorrow too, but we’ll also have to share them with Michael’s family too; so we’ll likely be trading that for more time with Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa.

I do need to get to sleep before Santa gets to town too, though, so that’s all for me tonight too; and I am out of here and getting started on my short, Christmas Eve nap.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
