Christmas Video of the Day!
This isn’t really a Christmas song, yet it’s
one that everyone knows and hears at Christmas thanks to being in one of the
most-famous Christmas cartoons of all time – and still one of our favorites!
Ethan:
We’ve had a good day, and game night was a
fun way to wrap up our school, work, and play day; but I’m mostly just looking
forward to having Cassie, Michael, and May come home tomorrow – and then
getting to go with them on the annual Christmas shopping trip on Saturday!
Since we do only have one more sleep before
the start of Cassie’s Christmas holiday, I’m going to keep this short; and just
get started on that nap time now.

That’s a good idea, Ethan; but I’ll add a
few notes before joining you in getting that sleep.
Our school day included a lot of
holiday-themed fun and music; and we’re not really doing much serious work
anymore as we count down the days to the holiday break. Ethan didn’t add this, but we are both
looking forward to pizza day tomorrow thanks to having Rebecca and Jen home
this week; and we’ll get a bonus pizza day next week too. Game night was holiday-themed; and included
extra players thanks to a Christmas dinner party reservation. Ethan also skipped the post-gaming studying
and Magi lesson that we did in the office tonight after getting home and while
Dad did his homework; which is why we’re not having an early bedtime – and need
to get the sleep we can now that it’s heading toward midnight.
This has been a fun day, and while our
favorite collegians will likely get home late tomorrow night; we’ll still have
more-fun with the start of our weekend – especially since we’ll likely get to
have lots of family and friends fun tomorrow night while waiting for them to
get here.
I’ll write all about that tomorrow night,
and that’s all I have for tonight; so I’m out of here and back to the real
world and some quality nap time.
