Christmas Video of the Day!

I don’t actually have anything newsworthy
to write about tonight. We’ve had a good
day, and some fun tonight with Cassie, Michael, and May, but we’re also going
to bed early; and that’s more for Cassie and May so that they can be rested up
for their bonus Christmas shopping trip to the city in the morning. Staying up and reading is actually an option,
but I probably won’t end up doing that; since we do have some busy days coming
up too as we count down the last three school days to the Christmas break.
Maybe Ehlana has more than I do, but that’s
it for me; so, until next time...

Ehlana:
I actually do have news – though it’s
something I wasn’t meant to overhear; and only picked it up because parents
forget to notice little kids around them sometimes. This will be a story around town by tomorrow,
though, and nobody will read this before then; so I’m happy to report that an
arrangement has been made to make sure that May isn’t a fifth-wheel on the
shopping trip tomorrow! That’s right,
folks, some of our favorite women in town have colluded to get her a certain
cowboy for a shopping buddy; and I didn’t need to hear the name to be sure that
Cody Carter is that lucky guy.
That’s what May gets for kissing Cody at
the Inn after Miranda set her up then and helped to get Cody to have dessert
with May at the buffet dinner. He joked
about booking the church for their wedding too, but while I think they’ll have
fun over the holidays; Ethan and I don’t get any sense that May and Cody are
meant to be a match – not to mention that they don’t really have much need for
a translator on the ranch unless May can learn to translate for horses and
cattle. ;^)
Okay, that’s all I have for tonight too –
and I’m okay with the extra sleep, since May will be away tomorrow; so going to
do some extreme play time at the lab could be an option after school!
I’ll let you know how that goes for us, and
there will be lots of holiday cheer coming up for the rest of this week too; so
stay tuned for lots more fun to come over the next few weeks!
