Ethan:
Tai Chi is more fun with Cassie, Michael,
and May; so that was a great way to start our day. Breakfast was quiet, since ‘our’ teens were
with Michael at his house for breakfast; so Mom and Dad only had Ehlana and me
for that meal. Church and Sunday school
was fun and festive too; and then we had a play afternoon with the cousins and
some friends that was all games and fun until we had a family buffet dinner at
the Inn. Cassie, Michael, and May were
with us until they were sent to be the welcoming committee for Grandma and
Grandpa when they got home; and then we – the younger kids – got to have dinner
with our Grandparents – and hear some travel stories while enjoying that meal.
That was a favorite part of our day; and
then we came home and had a quiet evening in the lounge for kids and teens
while Dad worked in the office and got ready for his trip to the city. We watched a Christmas movie; and now Ehlana
and I have to play ‘normal’ kids on a school night while May’s here with us.
The good news is that I’m ready to get some
sleep anyway; since we have had an awesome, fun day. We’re also down to just five school days
before the holiday, and we’ll mostly get to play every day; so I want to be
rested and ready for all of our continuing holiday adventures. Stay tuned; since there will be lots of fun
to write about over the next few weeks.

Let’s go with Ethan’s report for
tonight. He’s got the basics covered; I’m
tired out too; and don’t have anything important to add to this update; so I’m
out of here and off to have my mid-length winter’s nap.
