Christmas Video of the Day!
Having Cassie home for Christmas has new
meaning this year; so this song is for her – and one of our favorites. ;^)
Ethan:
Brianna is spending the night with Cassie
and Ehlana, but while that hasn’t affected most of my night; Ehlana and I will
do the early update so that it won’t get in the way of the movie night or
sleepover.
We had an awesome day at school; the
pizzeria lunch was a highlight; and the Christmas show was pretty good
too! Ehlana and I only did our class
song today, but while we like singing and performing on stage; we also want to
make sure that our friends and the other kids and teens get chances to shine
when they can; so we don’t plan on trying to ‘steal the show’ every year the
way that Cassie and Michael have been doing so brilliantly since the first
Christmas after they started dating.
While that show was the event of the day
around town; the fun continued for us with the snack break at home after school
that included our best friends, Zack, Eli, and Brianna; and then Cassie,
Michael, and May had dinner plans with Grandma and Grandpa. That gave Mom a chance for a group Magi
lesson to go along with our dinner entertainment; we’ve had more play time; and
now we’re going to watch a Christmas movie with Brianna once Cassie, Michael,
and May get here.
It’s still a school night, and while we’ll
only have a play day and Christmas party; we’ll still need to pretend to be
normal kids with May here too – especially when Brianna is here too.
That’s all I have for tonight, and need to
help with getting the lunge ready for the movie time; so I’ll just wrap this up
and get back to the holiday fun.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Ethan didn’t mention that we actually loved
the music and the rest of the fun from the concert – even Zack’s goofing around
during his class song. I can totally see
him as a stand-up comic in the future; though that could be in a way that’s
more scary than good – especially if that future routine includes the kind of
gags that earned him all of the laughs today.
I’ll also mention that Cassie, Michael, and May helped out with the
major pizza order at the pizzeria – including the deliveries to the school; and
Rebecca and Jen needed the help to keep up with the lunch orders. That’s good for their business, but in this
case; I’m writing about it because they all had a lot of fun with that
work-play time – and I wish that I could have played with making pizzas too!
While I loved the pizza and Christmas
concert fun today, I’ve really loved the family and friends time since then;
the Magi lesson; and the rest of the entertainment we’ve had since coming home
from school. Brianna’s sleepover was an
addition to the plan, but it works to do that tonight; and she’s very excited
about doing that with Cassie. I need to
get back to playing with her too, and Cassie, Michael, and May will be home
soon; so it’s time for me to get back to the real world too.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
