Christmas Video of the Day!
Since Cassie’s home, and we had our
shopping trip today; our pick for tonight is appropriate.
Bonus song today is from a show we watched
last night; and it seems that Darci Lynne and her puppets are a new hit with
our friends and cousins.
Ethan:
Welcome home, Cassie, Michael, and May!
It’s pretty much seemed as though we’ve had
non-stop fun from the moment we woke up until now; I’m tired; and will leave
the details for this update to Ehlana.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Shopping trip reports should be the
responsibility of the girls; so I’m okay with getting the job. ;^)
Ethan still had a lot of fun – even if the
girls all had more-fun today. Last
night, that included the cuddle time and Christmas shows; and then the bit of
fun we got to have with Cassie’s late-night arrival. The guys definitely enjoyed the buffet
breakfast at the Inn this morning more than the girls – if quantity-eaten is
any indication. Guys really don’t worry
about doing that ahead of a shopping trip – not to mention the travel time to
the city. Eating too much and then being
stuck in a car or van for an hour and a half or so seems like a bad idea to me –
and was for at least a couple of the kids today.
Shopping with Naomi and so many of our
favorite people was amazing – whether we were at the mall; our favorite toy
store; and then Wal-Mart – with that last stop mostly being a last chance for
our shopping buddies to pick up gifts that they hadn’t found at the mall or toy
store. I won’t cover every moment of the
shopping adventures; and all that really matters is that we made a lot of
happy, remember-forever moments today – even when we witnessed some scary food
moments in the food court at lunchtime thanks to some of the guys like Zack and
Miles.
After that display from Zack; it’s a wonder
that Aunt Leanne still loves fast food!
Moving along, we picked up dinner to go
before heading for home; that drive always seems a bit longer than the trips to
the city; we’ve been busy since getting home with dropping off friends and
gifts; unloading cars, trucks, and vans; and then having a bedtime snack break
in the sunroom once Mom and Dad only had ‘their’ kids with them. That was all fun – even the work hauling
gifts up to the third floor; and now I’m writing this while Cassie is getting
ready to have a soak in my Jacuzzi and I’m waiting for May to be ready to meet
me in the lounge for a bit of gift-wrapping and to maybe watch Christmas videos
or a movie.
I need to get to that, and won’t have time
to do this report later; since I’ll be one of Cassie’s cuddle buddies in her
room so that May can take her turn in my Jacuzzi and not worry about waking me
whenever she’s done.
This really has been an awesome start to
our holiday time with Cassie, Michael, and May; and I hope that the fun just
keeps rolling along from here!
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
