Ehlana and Ethan:
It’s late; so this will be a short update.
Tai Chi was by the river, and while this
wasn’t the first time this year; having Zack and Brianna with us for that led
to jokes about spring arriving early – even though that’s a bit premature this
early in March. We had fun with that;
another hot breakfast kept us happy; and then we had a good morning at church
and Sunday school – including the already-mentioned teasing from our neighbors
and friends.
We had lunch at home; played and biked all
afternoon while enjoying temperatures that climbed into the high-sixties; and
then we were at the Inn for a buffet dinner with most of our family and some
extra friends – including Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne. They got home again in time to unpack; start
some laundry; and then meet up with us at the Inn. That hour and a half of food fun and story
time was great; and then we’ve been home again and catching up on work and
studying while in a time phase for a lot of that work – which is why we’re
tired and ready to crash and nap.
There could be more news to write about
tonight, but we’ll leave that for the next update; wrap this up; and move on to
the sleeping part of our day. We’ve had
an awesome weekend with a lot of play time, but we’ll need to get back to work
again tomorrow; so expect a bit of boring for the news from home – even if life
will be more exciting for some of our favorite people. Cassie, Michael, and their college friends
might not agree with that when their excitement will be mid-term exams, but we
have a different perspective on that; and hope that they have fun while taking
those all-important tests.
We really do need to get to sleep; so we’re
out of here and back to the real world.
