Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:
Social distancing seems very weird when it
comes to Tai Chi by the river – and a bit silly; since we’re living in close
quarters when in the house. We were
happy to be outside for that workout, and while it was still a bit cool early
this morning; it warmed up a lot today – to around seventy degrees this
afternoon.
That’s why the highlight of this update for
our day so far was the afternoon biking on the trails. Cassie, Michael, and May went out with us for
some of that fun, but that’s weird too; since we spaced out our group for the
social distancing thing – and to do that while around others on the trails or
at the park too. That’s very strange
when you know everyone, but we’re mostly having fun with that; and it can be
entertaining to shout out greetings or share stories at a distance. Some of our friends are having a bit too much
fun with that sort of thing even as we mostly take it seriously; and that’s why
even our top pranksters are not trying anything that could land them in trouble
with the parents.
We did still have our online lessons and
assignments to do this morning, but we aren’t going to write about that every
day – or maybe not much at all anymore; since that isn’t very interesting. It is great to have all four of us together
for that work; so it might be tough to go back to our own classes again
whenever we do go back to school. Lunch
was for nine in the sunroom; and it was nice to have Dad join us for that
meal. The nice weather had us choosing
the biking for the entire afternoon; so we skipped the lab or archives play
time.
That brings us up to now – about an hour
ahead of dinnertime. We’re doing a
mid-week sleepover in the lounge tonight – in part so that one of us can miss
out on a Zack and Eli night at her house.
Cassie, Michael, and May are having dinner with Jake and Stephanie
tonight; so we’ll have six for dinner; and a group Magi lesson with Mom tonight
will be part of our entertainment too.
This update is early because we expect to be busy with cuddling and
movies later, but we’ll include that news with the next update. For now, we need to wrap this up and go help
Mom with making dinner; so that’s all for now.
