Joshua Reynolds!
We had family or twin gifts for all three
boys, and did a vid-chat with the Malloys at breakfast this morning, but that
was it for our birthday fun today.
Joshua’s special day should have been mentioned yesterday, but we left
it out of our update, and while we had a mini-celebration at lunch yesterday;
his birthday party was small because he picked a trip to the city with a couple
of friends over a bigger party at home. Girls
wouldn’t have been invited – and weren’t; so that wouldn’t have mattered for
one of us anyway.
Moving along, the rain ended overnight, but
while the weather was only a bit cooler today; everything was still pretty wet
outside; so we still mostly stayed indoors again. That also led to a near-repeat of yesterday
with lab or archives time for us after school; another late dinner with Mom and
Dad; more evening studying or work in the office; and a wrap-up music practice
ahead of our twin bedtime chat and journal update that’s – obvious – still in
progress now. We have had a happy day,
but the extra hours that go along with working in a time phase adds up; so we’re
also tired and ready to get some sleep.
That may sound boring, but we are trying to
do more now so that we can take time off over March Break; so the effort will
hopefully be worth it. We’ll have to let
you know how that goes for us with the updates next week, but that’s all for
now; so we’re out of here and moving on to nap time in the real world.
