Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:
Happy 27th Birthday, Mrs.
Jennings!
With school out for the week, we didn’t
celebrate her special day other than with the group gift that our family sent
to her, but Isabelle is very special to Mom and Cassie; so she gets special
mention today.
We’re doing another sleepover in the lounge
tonight; so we’re going to keep this update short. There was more rain this morning; so two of
us were at the lab or archives this morning.
Everything was wet outside all day, and we got on little blast of rain
this afternoon, but it warmed to around seventy too; so the four of us did a
bike ride on the main trail around town after lunch; had our snack break with
Aiden’s parents at the bakery; and eventually ended up at home again with time
to play – during that hit of rain – until dinnertime. Cassie, Michael, and May were out for dinner,
so it was just the four of us with Mom for that – and we were able to do a Magi
lesson with her while May was away for a few hours. That was fun – and so were the music play
time and then the movie in the lounge.
Naomi thinks that we should start a band, and we might do that some day,
but we’re still a bit young to even get gigs for school dances; so we
collectively agreed to keep that idea on hold for a year or five. ;^)
That’s about all for today. Naomi and Ethan are already set up for their
co-ed sofa sleepover; so it’s time to put this computer away and get back to
the cuddle time with Aiden until we’re ready to climb into our sleeping bags
for the night – though I won’t totally rule out falling asleep ‘accidentally’
too; since I am really getting tired. We’ll
let you know how that goes with the next update.
