Ehlana and Ethan:
Our first school week of March has started
out pretty well. The weather wasn’t
quite as warm as yesterday, but still pretty good for this time of year; so we
had some bonus outdoor time at school; and then adjusted our schedule for the
rest of the day to add in some play time to the lab and study mix. We opted for an hour or so of biking on the
trails with our friends; Mom packed a picnic dinner for us; and then we headed
to the lab and archives for a few hours while Mom and Dad had dinner for two at
home and then Mom came over to the lab to hang out with us until we were ready
to come home. She did our Magi lesson
there – including multi-tasking and doing that lesson while I was in the lab
and Ethan was in the archives. We got
home by eight-thirty; joined Dad in the office to study or work while in a time
phase until we were all finished for the night; and then we had a shorter
bedtime music practice before getting to this bedtime chat and twin-update.
That’s all of our news for today, but we do
have something to add that was decided tonight by other Magi; and that Mom and
Dad were told about on a vid-call with grandma and grandpa.
They’re cutting their winter charity trip
short and coming home – as are all of the volunteers doing the longer,
multi-country trips. Rowen’s grandmother
is coordinating that for everyone, and while we’re not too-worried for them
because of the coronavirus; traveling between countries is getting challenging;
and we don’t want anyone to get stuck in quarantine anywhere. It’ll still take a few days to get everyone
safely home, but we’ll keep you posted on that with our next few reports. As for grandma and grandpa, they’ll be home
sometime on Wednesday, and while they’re not big fans of winter; they may stay
home instead of looking to head south again to Arizona or Florida. That’ll really depend on what happens with
the coronavirus here in America. As of
today, we’re heading toward one hundred confirmed cases and six people have
died from it, but while that doesn’t seem like a big deal; the actual numbers
are likely higher and it’s spreading as quickly as in other countries. If that proves to be true; then doing a lot
of traveling even within the country will likely become more of a hassle than
they’d want to put up with.
It won’t hurt that it’s supposed to stay
warmer here for at least the rest of this week either, and if that trend
continues; they won’t mind being home early.
We’ll certainly be glad to have them home now instead of waiting until
Easter to see them again!
Okay, that’s all for now. We’re not going to get into more of the news
around the world, but we are keeping track of things as usual; and may need to
offer some comments if certain problems get even more-serious than they already
are – or affect us directly here at home beyond cutting international travel
adventures short for some of our favorite Magi and neighbors. Stay tuned; since this next few weeks could
prove to be even more-interesting than we’d expected.

home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
