Ehlana:
Ethan took the night off from our updates
last night; so I’ll leave this one to him – and that’s easy to do; since he’s
done that already and I know what he wrote about tonight! ;^)
It’s my turn to be tired and go to sleep
now; so I will.
This is Ehlana Proctor; live from the
hidden home of the Magi of the Light!

Ethan:
Our day began with Tai Chi for seven, so we
had fun despite needing to be indoors again.
That seems harder once we’ve gotten to be by the river a few times
already; and we’d rather be outdoors every day now – even though it’s only
mid-March. I helped Dad and Michael with
making the hot breakfast; that got us out of the clean-up – though we cleaned
as we worked too; and then we were off to church and Sunday school for the rest
of the morning. The school break didn’t
include a teaching break during the service or our Sunday school class, but we
had a good morning; and enjoyed the time with our family and friends. That was especially-true for our collegians;
since they were very popular today!
Lunch was at home, and then it was time for
us to start sharing Cassie and Michael – and May – with his family and their
friends for a lot of the rest of the day.
The temperature warmed a bit, but only into the low-forties; so it was
still a bit on the cold side of outdoor fun.
We still went out to play for a couple of hours this afternoon with
Naomi, Aiden, and some cousins and friends while Cassie, Michael, and May were
at the pizzeria, Inn, and elsewhere. The
biking was fun – and a bit messy for the guys in our group; and we opted for
some exploring near the river, falls, and ridge over hanging out at the
playground. Naomi needed to be home
early for a family outing, so we came home then while Aiden moved on to the
bakery. I had a shower to clean up then;
and then Ehlana and I had a music practice while waiting to go out for dinner
at the Inn.
The coronavirus problem isn’t affecting our
town when it comes to buffets at the Inn – so far, but that was talked about a
lot around the Inn – and we heard some of those conversations because Uncles
Adam and Mark were looked to for their opinions and advice. We don’t have any cases in our area – and they’d
know if we did, but while that is, eventually, likely; nobody is
panicking. That isn’t how we roll here
in our little town. When we have
emergencies; we work together – whether that’s to help one person or to support
everyone. That doesn’t mean that there
isn’t some concern – particularly for our seniors, but we do have some rather
special advantages if there is some need for Magi-powered healing; and you can
be sure that we’ll do what we can to help if needed.
Having full rooms at the Inn during dinner
seemed a bit strange with all of the news coming in around the country and
world, but I don’t know why; since that didn’t seem to be the case at church
this morning. The buffets were set up
the same as always too, and while that may change in the coming weeks – again,
if needed; everything still seemed pretty much normal. That certainly included the awesome food, and
since Cassie and Michael had a long visit in the kitchen this afternoon; we
know that there haven’t been any problems with getting most of their usual
supplies delivered to the Inn on-time.
That might change in the near-future too, but I don’t know if we’ll keep
you posted on many of those details; since we don’t expect that to be a problem
for us while on our break this week – unless something gets in the way of the
supplies for our park picnics! ;^)
Cassie and Michael stayed at the Inn after
dinner for a while, but May came home with us; the girls took turns with the
Jacuzzi again; we watched music videos in the lounge; and then we headed for
bed soon-after Cassie and Michael got home because some of us will be up early
to see Dad off on his trip to the city.
We don’t have any major plans for tomorrow, but then we’re just going to
wait and see how it goes as Cassie, Michael, and May work out their online
studies. With three separate sets of
lectures to deal with; that might make it tough for them to have much spare
time – especially with Cassie’s course load.
That’s something I can write more about as
we go along, but there isn’t really anything else to add for today; so I’ll
wrap this up and move on to nap time now.
May the Magi Force be with you!
