Happy 18th Birthday, Nora!
As with my birthday while we were in
Florida with the band, Nora was fired up about celebrating her special day in
Nashville; and everyone joined in for at least some of her birthday fun – even if
that was just at one or more meals.
I only have one more hotel sleepover with
Michael before we head home tomorrow, though; so this is going to be another
short report.
We had a great start to our day with Tai
Chi by the pool and breakfast with Mom, Aunt Leanne, and our group; the morning
was dedicated to shopping; and our timing for that proved good because we were
indoors for the one and only weather blip in our visit here – a thunderstorm
that rolled through the area and dumped a bit of rain on the city – if not on
us! We had a fast food lunch; and then spent
the entire afternoon enjoying the outdoors.
That included as much pool time as we wanted; but going out to play or
bike were options – and Michael, Tim, Rowen, and I went for a minor bike ride
for an hour or so with swim and sunning breaks on either side of that bit of
entertainment. We dressed up for our
final dinner out; enjoyed another evening of music entertainment; and had one
last swim back at the hotel before coming up to our rooms for the night. Rowen’s already in Tim’s room; Michael will
be here any moment now too; and I need to go and have fun in the real world
before we’ll need to nap and be ready for a long travel day.
This has been an amazing, remember-forever
senior trip, so forgive me the lack of written details, but it really is more
fun to enjoy every moment if real life that I can while we’re here; Michael’s
at the door; and I want to wrap up our Nashville experience with one last
make-out session with him; so, until next time...
...May the Magi Force be with you!
