It’s late; we’re home now; and Ethan,
Ehlana, and I still have Naomi, Aiden, and Michael with us because we didn’t
want to wake their families to drop them off at home so late at night. The twins are in their rooms with their
friends; I’m about to cuddle with Michael in the lounge for a short sofa
sleepover; and then I fully expect that we’ll just fall asleep. We’re both tired; and I drove Mom’s minivan
home from the airport while she went home with Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa in Dad’s
truck. Yes, Grandma and Grandpa game
home with us, but they’re only staying until after Easter; and then they’ll be
off on another, shorter adventure for another month or so until sometime in
mid-May.
We have had a good day, and enjoyed our
last few hours in Arizona before getting started on our trip home, but the
travel part of our day really wasn’t anything to write home about – or comment
on in my journal either. This time
around, we had some travel delays; it was a bit tougher to keep Brianna
entertained now that our holiday is over; and we had a lot of hurry up and wait
moments before and after our flight – and the delays also meant that we ended
up having a very late dinner before we hit the road for home from ‘our’
airport.
Right now, I really just need to get to the
cuddling and nap time, and am too tired to write more; so, until next time...
...May the Magi Force be with you!
