I am going to have a sofa sleepover with
Michael tonight, and we’ll be having a movie night first once he gets here from
the Inn; so this is going to be a short update – even though we’ve had a very
busy day.
That started with the breakfast shift at
the Inn – or as much of it as we could work before hitting the road for Central
State and taking our SAT’s. Michael and
I were on our own for that today from our school; which is why I haven’t been
writing about getting ready for it. We’ll
be doing that with our classmates to get ready for their SAT’s next month – and
have the advantage of having taken ours first.
I have that play time to get to, though; so let’s move this along.
We wrote the tests; will have perfect
scores on them; and then we went out for lunch with Rebecca and Lucas. Jen was busy; so she didn’t join us for that
visit. As with all collegians, Rebecca
and Lucas have been changed a bit by their new perspectives and experiences,
and there’s a bit of a gap now between us; but we had a nice visit before
Michael and I moved on to do a bit of shopping before we needed to head for
home again in time for him to work the dinner shift at the Inn. That shopping was mostly gift-related; so we’re
ready to go for the next month or so of birthdays, anniversaries, and other
celebrations.
Michael dropped me off at home; went to get
ready for work; and I’ve been hanging out with Mom, Dad, Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi,
and Aiden since then. They’ll all be
doing the movie night with us – though the kids have already watched one movie;
and we’ll only get through one before it’ll be bedtime for most of us. I’ll want to be sleeping then too, but will
likely make some time to have some teen-rated play time with Michael if we can
do that – and don’t end up with junior sofa sleepover buddies.
I’ll let you know how that works out for
me, but that’s all for tonight; so, until next time...
...May the Magi Force be with you!
