We won the football game tonight at
Meadowvale; by a score of fifty-eight to nineteen. Michael score four touchdowns; Tim had three;
and we only gave up one touchdown to Meadowvale – though they did earn four
field goals to our three.
The weather during the game ended up being
great – a real surprise after a rainy, humid day – and we had more rain after
the game and during the ride home again.
I’m glad that we were blessed with that few hours of perfect weather; so
I won’t complain about the parts of the night where we did get wet – like while
we unloaded our gear when we got home again and then while walking to our
houses once we were done at the school.
I helped Michael out with some healing
tonight before sending him home for the night, but we didn’t try for another
sofa sleepover tonight because we got home really late; and won’t have much
time to sleep before we’ll need to be at the Inn for the breakfast shift. Yes, we could have had our naps together, but
we were fairly-damp by the time we got to my house; needed to get dry and
changed; so since Michael needed to go home to do that anyway; I didn’t ask him
to come back again when all we wanted to do by then is crash anyway.
That’s still true for me right now, and I’ve
only done the basic bedtime computer and email checks before getting to this
update; so I will be sleeping soon. The
rest of my day didn’t include anything newsworthy; so that’s also going to be
all I have for tonight. We have had a
good day and a lot of fun at the football game, but I’m totally wiped out now;
