Okay, I’ve hit the wall; so this is
definitely going to be a micro-report.
Michael and I had to be at the Inn early
for the breakfast shift, but Mom got up early too and took over kid control so
that we didn’t need to move our junior campers indoors before leaving. I worked until ten; caught the tail-end of
Ethan’s ball game and the Blizzard’s win over the Hardware Hurricane; and then
Dad and I got started on the yard chores that included packing up the tents and
cleaning up the temporary campground. We
had good weather for yard work; I kept at that until needing to get ready for
the dinner-to-close shift at the Inn; and had some help from Michael during his
afternoon break – though we went for a swim too before I hit the shower and got
cleaned up and changed for work.
I missed Michael’s ballgame while working
at the Inn, but he and Tim helped their team to get a win today too; with the
Lasers earning the lopsided, fifteen-to-five victory over Palmer’s Prisms. Michael came back to the Inn to work until
close after the game; he walked me home; and then we split up for the night
because we were both exhausted and needed the extra sleep. I also had some family business work to deal
with too; so just having a sofa sleepover wasn’t an option – though it was very
tempting.
That’s all I have for tonight, though, and
don’t want to ramble on about anything when I could be sleeping instead; so,
until next time...
...May the Magi Force be with you!
