Ehlana and Ethan:
We’ve had a play day; Cassie, Michael, and
May spent extra time with us; and will
be continuing to do that tonight while we also have a sleepover here with Naomi
and Aiden; so we’re keeping this update short and early while waiting for our
best friends to get here with the overnight bags that they’re currently packing
at their own homes. Our play time
started with a cool Tai Chi workout by the river this morning; and this has
been a comparatively-cool day too with the high temperature topping out in the
mid-seventies. It’s going to be another
cool night too, but the sleepover plan instead of camping has more to do with
having fun with our favorite collegians than the weather. Breakfast was followed by some chores, but
then Naomi and Aiden came over; we went for a bike ride around town; and the
play day plans rolled along with cameo moments of fun at the park; around town;
and at home. There was only one
afternoon swim because we didn’t really need to cool down as normal for most of
the past month or so; and that’s pretty much all we have for the day-so-far.
Pizzeria pizza is on the dinner menu for
tonight, and we don’t want to be late for that; so we’re going to wrap this up;
and get back to getting our rooms and the lounge ready for the movies and video
gaming entertainment that will keep us busy this evening. We’ll have the rest of that story with our
next report.
