Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 2nd Birthday, Stuart Stone!
Cassie and Michael couldn’t be here for their nephew’s special day, but we know they did a breakfast vid-chat with Stuart and his family – which was late-afternoon for Cassie and Michael; and they had gifts for him too. Ethan and I were in on a family gift for him too, but Mom delivered that to him while we were at school; and we only had a very short cameo visit with Stuart between our academic adventures and when we headed for the lab to play there because we had a mildly-damp round of showers around here for parts of the afternoon.
While we had a good day at school, the best parts of our day happened at the lab or archives. We stayed and play-worked there into the evening; didn’t go home until a bit after eight o’clock; and had our leftovers dinner then that Mom saved for us while she and Dad had enjoyed their meal on-time. Mom did a Magi lesson with us after that, but didn’t want us working late again tonight too; so we were sent up to our rooms after that and a short chat break with Dad in the office. There really isn’t anything else to write about tonight, since the fun we had at the lab didn’t include any major breakthroughs for me or particularly-interesting discoveries for Ethan in his books; so let’s just do the Cassie and Michael update and call it a night.
Our favorite travelers are not getting great weather for this last week in Russia, and while that isn’t a shock for the area they are in; they definitely loved the hotter weather in the south. The weather does have them spending more time indoors each day; and the site visits aren’t as much fun when they do venture outdoors to check out properties and the projects that are happening in fields or in the great outdoors. Their charity work today included a luncheon and an evening volunteer drive event and open house; so they’ve also had another very long day. As usual, thinking about that for us gets messed up thanks to the time phase, since even though our bedtime is quite a bit earlier than last night; Cassie and Michael are still already getting started on their Wednesday – though let’s not comment on whether they’re starting their day with Tai Chi or an alternate workout because of the cold weather! We will keep counting down the days to when they’ll be heading for home again on Saturday, but they are still getting a lot done and helping a lot of people; so we are happy about that; and look forward to doing our parts to help out from here when we can do that through our own family business and charity work.
Okay, we’re ready to pack up and get caught up on our sleep; so that’s all for tonight.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
