Ehlana and Ethan:
We had a blast during the rest of our Friday and since our last update; and this is another early report because we’ll be busy with our friends again for the rest of the day now that we’ve been set free from our usual weekend chores!
The biking and park play with our usual gang of friends after school was awesome; we only had Naomi and Aiden with us by the time we went home for dinner with Mom and Dad; and we’ll mention here that we were already working on the plan for a camping night with our friends for tonight that Ethan and I got permission to host. We worked on those plans last night too, but also cleaned up after dinner; and our evening entertainment included a music practice; two movies; co-ed cuddle time; and lots of teen chat before we eventually got around to our co-ed sofa sleepover.
Tai Chi was by the river this morning; we had a hot breakfast; and this week we split up for the chores while Naomi and Aiden went to work at their own homes instead of trying to work together. We saw them a couple of times because we also did a quick round of work at Cassie and Michael’s house as part of our chores, and while we haven’t mentioned this; we should report that Mandy is being well-cared for and taking turns with her ‘cousins’ with Faith taking the first week and Brianna taking care of her this past week. We’ll take a turn too, but Mandy will spend most of her time with Mom and Silkie while with us – unless she needs a kid break by then and opts to stay at home on her own instead. Yes, she will tell us if that’s what she wants; and it isn’t really a problem to stop in to feed her and keep her litter box clean when we always have kids that want to help out with her. We got our work done by one o’clock; just finished lunch; and we’ll be meeting up with our friends soon and get started on setting up our campground.
Most of our friends will be here for dinner and the night, but we won’t have everyone here until some of them get set free from chores on farms or elsewhere. We also want to do some more biking today and evening canoe rides and other fun will be fit in along with our plans for a campfire and the barbeque dinner that we expect a gang of parents to join in on too; so that’s all we have for our own news of the day. Let’s also add that Cassie and Michael are having a good day that has included a lot of sightseeing and only one business meeting, and while their Saturday is probably close to over as we’re writing this; we probably don’t need to know how they’re wrapping up their Saturday night!
We’re still tweens, so our night won’t end that way, but co-ed camping for at least some of us might be an option. There will definitely be co-ed cuddling around the campfire and we’ll likely stay up late too, but the weather is great; we’re going to hit a high in the mid-eighties; and it will even stay warmer tonight than the high Cassie and Michael had in Moscow today! We really need to go now; so that’s all for this report and we’ll have the rest of the story for today with our next update.
