Ehlana and Ethan:
Another great weather day required us to play with our friends after school today, but then we work-played at the lab or archives after dinner and Mom went along with us and spent some time with each of us while we had fun with our beakers or books.
We started our day early while seeing Dad and Anna Marie on their way to the city; Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom were highlights of our morning; and then we had a good day at school with lots of outdoor time along with one test and some project presentations that included the one that I did with Sophia and Ethan did with Aiden. The after-school entertainment included biking the trails, some football for the guys, and a short swim for some of us when we wanted to cool off. That didn’t take long in the cold water, but we had fun; and the non-swimmers got teased as much as we did for taking the chilly plunges.
Dinner was more of a snack than a major meal, but then the clean-up was quick too; and that gave us more time to be at the lab. My work continues to keep me challenged and happy; Ethan feels the same way about his work in the archives and with the old books and other documents; and we definitely stayed too late for a school night. That’s mostly why we’ve kept our bedtime twin chat and computing shorter than usual tonight and we even both opted for showers instead of bath or Jacuzzi time – though I really was tempted to go with the soak in my tub even if that would have meant staying up even later. I’m definitely not going to get into any news rants or commentary tonight, so let’s do the Cassie and Michael update and then call it a night.
Our favorite world travelers spent their Monday working in and around Rostov-on-don, and with the time change; they’re already getting started on their Tuesday and a second day in the same region. They will be heading south and working their way to Krasnodar. As we’ve mentioned, most of their work continues to be focused on charities and businesses that help people that are most in need in the region, and while Cassie and Michael are fitting in a bit of sightseeing along the way; those are cameo moments so far.
We’re tired and really need some sleep now, so that’s it for now; and we’ll be back again with our next update once we’ve rested up and then lived our adventures between now and then!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
