Ehlana and Ethan:
Mom and Dad are getting a kid-free night; so this update is once again early; and the top news of the day might still be ahead of us – either at Aiden’s or Naomi’s homes while we’re there for the night. No, we won’t be doing co-ed sleepovers – though Naomi did joke about doing that at bedtime after having me with her for dinner and the evening while Ethan is with Aiden and the Draper family. We will have those stories for you with the next update, but let’s get to the news of the day-so-far – and from last night.
Dinner was for ten because the Carringtons joined us for that meal; so it was fun to spend some time with them when we didn’t need to share them with a gang of family and friends. Mom drafted us for some of the work before and after dinner, but then we also had some play time with our cousins; and then Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne took them home early instead of staying for movies or any other entertainment with us. We had some music fun; watched movies; and had a surprise bonus bedtime pizzeria pizza snack; and then we wrapped up our day with some quality co-ed cuddling and a sofa sleepover that was a very happy way to end our school week!
The weather warmed up a bit today; we didn’t get very much rain; and that meant getting started on some of the outdoor spring clean-up work. Mom and Dad kept us busy from breakfast time until one; we had lunch; and then were set free for some biking and park play time with Naomi, Aiden, and some other friends. We just finished with those adventures, and had fun, but a bit of rain had us coming home a bit early; and we’re packing our overnight bags and getting cleaned up before moving on to Naomi’s and Aiden’s houses for the rest of the day. The kid-free time for Mom and Dad had been set up earlier in the week; and we’re split up for the night because it is apparently necessary for us to at least occasionally have guys-or-girls-only time with our best friends. We’re twins; never really apart even when we are; and don’t need to do this; so we just go along with it for appearances – though Ethan really doesn’t mind missing out on mini-makeovers and other girl-themed entertainment! ;^)
The rest of our news for the day can wait for tomorrow night; since we’re not taking our computers with us for the sleepovers. Flip the digital page in the future to find out how our separate adventures go for us; we’ll move on to live those experiences; and, until next time...
