Happy 36th Birthday, Liz!

Make that Happy Birthday to my future
mother-in-law for Ethan! ;^)
I don’t have any doubt of that – especially
when we’re about to move on to a sofa sleepover or camping night in the lounge;
with Naomi and Ethan doing the sofa sleepover.
She’s taking a turn in my Jacuzzi now, so I’m doing this update while
getting ready for that camping night in the lounge. Aiden’s here for the night, but that’s a
bonus for us while Naomi’s here so that her parents can get a kid-free night
for her Mom’s birthday.
We’ve had an awesome day; and helping to
celebrate Liz’s birthday has just been part of the fun. Ethan and I stopped by Naomi’s house with
gifts this morning, so that was a fun start to the day, but then we had a good
day at school despite the rainy weather; and then there was more birthday fun
after school through until the special birthday dinner at the Inn. We – the kids – were at separate tables from
the parents during that meal, but we had fun while Liz was roasted by her
friends. Naomi and Eli were with her for
gift time; there were Olde Bakery cake desserts; and then it was time for game
night. Naomi’s parents didn’t stay for
the games, but Naomi and Aiden were with us for the night after that; we had a
blast with the games; and then came home and wrapped up our day with a group
Magi lesson that didn’t end long ago. I
kept my bath time short to leave Naomi with more time; we’re going to fall
asleep to a movie once we get to the cuddle and nap time; and I’ll add more
with the next update if there’s anything newsworthy to mention for the rest of
our night.
For now, I’m going to help Ethan and Aiden
with getting the lounge set up for the rest of the night; so I’m out of here.
