Ethan:
The girls win today’s back-to-school
shopping adventure challenge; I need to crash and nap; and will leave this
update to Ehlana.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Ethan and the other guys might tell you
that the buffet breakfast at the Inn and the fast food lunch and dinner were
the highlights of our trip – if they weren’t too-tired and need to sleep
instead! ;^)
The food was great, but we had a lot of fun
with the travel and girl chat time; and shopping for new clothes for most of
the day was awesome too – and we’re going to look great both for our first
weeks at school and for the next few Sundays at church. We also picked up the usual gifts that we’ll
need for the next couple of months for birthdays and other celebrations; we
helped out with the supply shopping for others that Mom had already done for us
except for a few additions that she picked up after a double check of things we
needed at home. Dad caught up with us at
Wal-Mart; his truck was loaded with many of those bags and boxes of supplies;
and then he took Ethan and Aiden with him for the drive home – after we all
stopped at various fast food places to pick up dinner-to-go.
When we got home, the guys took care of
making deliveries while the girls got to do one last blast of shopping for the
sales that were going on here at home all day; they helped with unloading the
minivan after we got home too; and then we spent some time putting everything
away and having a bedtime snack and chat.
We headed for our beds after that; and I’m ready to get some sleep too.
Naomi and I have our last baseball game
tomorrow morning and we need to win it to make it into the championship game;
so I’d better be ready for that – especially when some of our team mates might
be tired out after our trip to the city today.
That could be true for everyone on both teams; so maybe that won’t be a
big deal anyway.
I’ll keep you posted on that, but don’t
have anything to add for today; so it’s time to wrap up and move on to my nap.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
