Happy 19th Birthday, Tim!
Ethan:
We had fun camping last night – even with
Zack and Eli trying to mess with us until they eventually ran out of steam
sometime between midnight and on o’clock.
Tai Chi ended up being by the river and with the three of the
Carrington’s while sleeping pranksters were allowed to sleep in; breakfast was
Zack-and-Eli-free too; and then we had some chores to help out with around
Naomi’s house before Ehlana and I headed for the lab and archives for the last
half of the morning. That wasn’t a lot
of play time, but we wanted to be home in time to have lunch with Mom – after
she dropped off a fast food fix for Aunt Leanne at the office. We made it there in time to help unload the
van – and there was a fair bit to unload because Mom picked up supplies that
she would have gotten on Friday while on the back-to-school trip. She did that yesterday and this morning so
that we’ll have more room in our truck and van for others to use – including
our aunts and cousins.
Mom had a lot to get done this afternoon,
so after having an easy lunch and trading stories with her; we met up with
Naomi and Aiden for another play afternoon.
Some of our friends were out at the park too, so we joined in on the
trail riding in progress; added in two swims and some playground fun; and then
headed home to have dinner with Mom – all four of us. Co-ed baseball was the evening entertainment
highlight – though for the four kids in our group; that meant entertaining the
younger cousins, siblings, and other kids while the parents were busy. That was fun, but it has also been a long
day; and I’m ready to get some sleep now – so I will.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Ethan has our side of the report covered –
though I’ll skip over the Zack and Eli details from last night too; since there
might already be another journal somewhere in the archives to document his
never-ending antics! ;^)
We also don’t have any news from Cassie and
Michael about the celebrations for Tim’s special day. They had dinner plans with their friends, but
lots of studying to do too; so an all-night party is not very likely. Our gifts for Tim went with them when they
left home a week and a half ago; and we didn’t end up even having a vid-call
with Tim and Rowen because our timing didn’t work out. I can add that Mom and Dad didn’t do anything
exciting while together in the city and kid-free – though there were two,
hours-long gaps in Mom’s report that seem just a bit suspicious and might mean
that they were having the kind of fun that doesn’t get reported to the kids in
the house! ;^)
I definitely don’t want to take my thoughts
there, and do want to get some sleep now too; so that’s all for my update
tonight.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
