Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - August 16, 2019

Ethan:

We’re between our afternoon play time and the family and friends dinner and play night that is going to include camping for at least four of us; so the updates are early today; and we’ll cover the rest of the news tomorrow night.

Mom had us do some chores this morning before going to the lab; we played there until lunchtime; had that meal with Mom at home; and then we’ve been biking, swimming, and playing with Naomi, Aiden, and random friends since then.  Mom and Dad are hosting the dinner; we’re going to set up our tents next – and may end up with extra cousins or friends camping with us; and the play time might include an evening canoe ride.

Note to me – we’re overdue for a longer canoe ride; and should probably do that before we run out of summer! ;^)

That’s all I have for today and it’s time to get to that tent and camp set-up before we’re due to help out with kid control until dinnertime; so I’ll go and do that.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

That update works for me, so I’ll just get my camping bag packed; and go help with the tents too.

It’s been a fun day with our family and friends; so that’s really the only news for today that matters.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!

P.S.  Cassie, Michael, and their friends are having fun and will continue to do that through the weekend before it’ll be time to get focused on their studies starting on Monday.  I’m happy for them; since Cassie in particular will be very busy again with her junior-year classes – and likely tutoring for all of her Sophomore-year friends too.  Stay tuned – there will be regular news from our favorite collegians!
