Ethan:
The start of our baseball season – or at
least the practices – is our top news story of the day. That’s also true for Aiden and me; since our
practices are on Monday. We have the six
o’clock time slot at the school ball diamond; so we took the day off from the
lab; played after school; and had a quick, early dinner before heading to the
school. As usual, we had lots of family
support for the first practice; Aide and I had fun with our practice while
Ehlana and Naomi ended up spending most of that time playing with our younger
cousins at the school playground; and then Ehlana and I went home with Mom and
Dad and got to work on our studies and a Magi lesson while Dad did his work
homework.
Our school day included work on Mother’s
Day gifts; we’re getting some testing this week; and winding down a batch of
projects and learning modules before we’ll move on to the last batch of lessons
that will take us into the end of the school year and final exams and
testing. That does keep us busy – if not
challenged; and we always have fun with our friends. Ehlana and I will need to work out our lab
time for baseball nights; but we may just end up taking one day each on Monday
and Tuesday – with Ehlana in her lab on Monday while I have baseball; and me in
the archives on Tuesday. We’ll keep you
posted on that once we work that out – and it might end up being different
while Cassie’s home between semesters too.
Speaking of that, the countdown is on for
Cassie and Michael. Their exams start a
week from today; and then they’ll be home a week from Friday – for the summer
for Michael; and a couple of weeks for Cassie.
She’s mostly focusing on helping her friends get ready for their exams
this week, since she’s ready now; so her long days will continue for another couple
of weeks; and then she might want to sleep the entire time she’s home.
Okay, that isn’t likely, but we do know
that she is getting tired. We’ll do what
we can to help her rest up when she’s here; or at least have holiday-like
fun. I guess that’s it for tonight, and
it’s late; so I’m going to wrap this up and get some sleep.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
I’m ready to nap now too, and Ethan’s
already covered the news of the day; so maybe he’ll let me do that for my
baseball day tomorrow. There isn’t
anything to add from my day, since Ethan even covered the playground fun with
Naomi and our cousins; so I’m out of here and off to dreamland soon too.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
