Ethan:
This update is coming to you before dinner
because I have time; and there probably won’t be any news that I don’t know
about already.
Our movies and sleepover last night was
great; we had a good morning with Tai Chi by the river and breakfast for six –
though we missed having Cassie and Michael with us; and then the church service
and Sunday school had bonus fun thanks to the guests in town for Jen and
Garrett’s wedding. After a light lunch
at home, we – the kids – were set free to play while Dad was busy with his
usual weekend homework following his trips to the city. We biked the trails, played; and then visited
Cassie and Michael at the pizzeria for our snack break. Cassie’s going to stay and work with Rebecca
until close; and Rebecca is likely there by now after helping out with the
post-wedding entertainment of Jen and Garrett’s guests. Michael is working the buffet shift at the
Inn; so they’ll both be working late.
We’re having dinner at the Inn tonight, and
wish that Cassie and Michael could do that with us, but we’ll have fun anyway –
especially since Naomi and Aiden will have their families there too. Add in some more work or studying after we
get home from the Inn; and that’s it for our day. We didn’t get to spend much time with Cassie
and Michael, and we’ll be back at school tomorrow; but we’ll just have to hope
for the best for getting to have some more time with them while we’re all so
busy.
Okay, I need to get cleaned up for dinner
soon; so that’s it; and I’m heading back to the real world now.

I’ll keep this short – and we’re both going
with the early update.
Cassie and Michael are really happy to help
Rebecca and Jen at the pizzeria, but I honestly didn’t expect that we’d need to
go there for snack breaks just to see them!
That’s a bit weird – though maybe it shouldn’t be; since we have needed
to visit them at the Inn a lot over the years – especially during the
summer. We’ve had a good day and weekend
even though we haven’t gotten to spend as much time with Cassie and Michael as
we’d like. I do need to move on, and
Ethan’s covered the plans for the rest of our day; so I’m not going to let the
lack of Cassie time get in the way of the last few hours of our weekend.
I’m sure that the great food at the buffet
will help a lot with that; so I’m going to wrap this up and go get ready to
head to the Inn.
