Ethan and Ehlana:
This is a short, early update because we’re going to be busy for the rest of the night with our friends. The top news of the day-so-far is the weather cool down; and we only have a high of around sixty. We still went out for a bit of biking after school, but now we’re getting ready for our guests and need to move on soon to help Mom with making dinner while Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron are checking in with their families and packing overnight bags. We’ve had a good day so far, but don’t really have any news. Our academic adventures included a test and some project work time; we opted for a music practice at lunch instead of going outside; and we were nearly as happy as the teachers to be set free for the weekend! ;^)
Okay, we need to get back to work now; so that’s all for today. Our evening plans include dinner-for-eight; a band practice; movies; and a co-ed sofa sleepover that will be that for Naomi and me tonight because she’s already claimed a spot for us this time while leaving it up to Ehlana and Sophia to work out which of them get the other sofa spot while the other will be ‘nesting’ on the floor with pillows and blankets. The rest of our story for today can wait for our next report, and we really do need to get going; so we’re out of here and back to our amazing, real-life adventures!
