Ethan and Ehlana:
Our start to the last week of the month hasn’t been very newsworthy, but the weather was a best-of-the-week according to the forecast; so we chose an after-school play date with our friends and didn’t really do anything important at all!
Tai Chi by the river was still on the chilly side, but we followed that up with a hot breakfast; and our academic adventures were good and not very exciting. After being set free, we checked in with Mom, grabbed our bikes, and went biking with our friends. There was a stop at Cassie and Michael’s house to check in on Mandy because it is our turn to do that this week, and we’re only mentioning that because we haven’t been mentioning that in our journal, and while it isn’t a big deal; Mandy is being taken care of every day; and she is staying at home most of the time because that’s where she prefers to be – mostly because she’s getting older; and doesn’t want to be pestered by dogs or kids. Brianna and Faith helped out with Mandy last week and were there today too even though it is our turn, but then they might have just wanted an excuse to be with us when we hit the trails on our bikes.
We had fun with the trail riding and park play time; got home in time for dinner with Mom and Dad; and then our four best friends came over with a total of two parents for a group Magi lesson and then a band practice. Our evening entertainment was the highlight of our day – though the low-eighties warm weather play time was a close second. We really love having Sophia and Aaron joining us for the lessons, and we might be officially adding two new members to the band too by the end of the month; since Sophia and Aaron have been playing around with adding violin parts to all of our songs instead of being spectators for songs that we haven’t worked on with them before now. That works for us, and for the record, we will be sharing profits from our Christmas album sales with them – and with Cassie and Michael. Don’t make anything of that; since we really aren’t talking about much money – and they might have done better to get paid a flat fee for their ‘work’ with us!
Moving along, our friends headed for their homes at a bit after nine o’clock; we had a bedtime visit with just a bit of family business work in the office with Mom and Dad; and bath or Jacuzzi time was needed after the outdoor fun. That brings us up to now, and all we have left to write about is the Cassie and Michael update. That won’t take long because this has been a travel day for them. They’ve flown from Suriname to Brazil; they’ll be staying in the Macapa region all week; and took the rest of the day off after arriving to rest up before getting back to work tomorrow. That isn’t much of a break for them, but they are making sure that their work justifies the expenses; and this leg of their trip is very important. We’ll have more on that as we go along, but since they don’t have any news to write about either; it’s time to wrap this up and call it a night – so we will! ;^)
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
