Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 10th Birthday, Zack!
This update is early because we’re about to head over to Zack’s party and we’ll be busy for the rest of the day with that adventure and our incoming weekend guests; so we probably won’t have time to write this or do our usual bedtime computing later tonight. We don’t really have much to report for our day-so-far. The weather continues to be good with a high that we’re just getting to now that will top out at around eighty-one. We’ve had some bonus outdoor time at school, but having a warmer start to the day worked out for Tai Chi by the river too. We weren’t in on the birthday breakfast for Zack, but that was apparently a bonus for us; and Brianna wished that she could have missed it too! Zack has been in fine form so far today; and we’ve heard that the girls in his class are very happy that they don’t need to be at his party tonight – or most of them won’t be there. We will help Leah, since cousins are invited; and Ehlana and Naomi will do their best to help all of the younger girls while Aiden and I will do what we can to minimize whatever Zack and Eli will try to do tonight to impress their buddies and annoy everyone else with their pranks and games.
We need to get to the party now – and help Mom with the food and gifts that we need to take with us; so that’s all for today. The fun really is just getting started for today and as we head into the fall festival weekend. We’re also looking forward to having our Proctor cousins and the Malloys here for the weekend. They’ll all be getting here sometime this evening; they’ll be on the road soon; since the parents have been waiting for the kids to get out of school. Jayden may be the only ‘kid’ we’ll be able to hang out with during the school day part of the festival tomorrow, but we will help with Valerie and Marcus when we can; and Kaitlyn will likely be with Jeremy as much as possible all weekend. Stay tuned for all of the festival news over the next few updates – and the rest of the story for Zack’s party and whatever else happens for us tonight.
Okay, we really do need to get going now. Mom isn’t yelling for us to hurry up, but she doesn’t need to do that when we have our connections with her and can sense what she needs long-before yelling would be required! Yes, that’s an advantage for us most of the time; and let’s not comment on the potential downside risks for teens with such close connections with their parents! ;^)
We really do need to go; so that’s all for today and we’re out of here!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
