Ethan and Ehlana:
Mom is home from the city; had fun with the parts of her visit that we don’t need the details from; and her day since getting home has been busy with everything from the fast food delivery for Aunt Leanne and a lunch break with her to a visit with Cassie and Michael and some work around home this afternoon.
Compared to the past two days, ours has been quieter, but we loved getting to start it with Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Cassie and Michael. We had a good school day even with a dash or two of rain; and then we did a quick visit with Mom before going to play at the lab or archives until dinnertime. That meal was with Mom; we caught up on the rest of our respective stories from home or the city; and then Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron came over for a band practice. That was a highlight of our day, and then Mom did a Magi lesson with four of us after Sophia and Aaron went home; we took Silkie for a walk while seeing our best friends to their homes; and then bath or Jacuzzi time was next on the list ahead of a not-really-early bedtime.
We haven’t seen Cassie and Michael since heading off to school this morning, but they’re busy with their own lives and work; and we do need to share them anyway after getting extra time with them on Monday and Tuesday! The time we spent with them this morning counts too; so we really need to be more-fair about that – while still feeling selfish and wishing for more time with them! ;^)
Instead of going there when we really have no reason to feel and act that way, we’re going to wrap this up; move on; and get some sleep soon. This may not have been as-exciting a day, but it has still been really great; we’re happy; and looking forward to all of the adventures still ahead of us for the rest of the week and into the weekend!
