Ethan and Ehlana:
We have a quiet news day to report, and while Rebecca’s baby news was the top story at church as expected; the start to a new series of messages from Pastor John and the learning modules to go with them for Sunday school classes started out quietly – at least by comparison to the teen-led service last Sunday! We had a good morning with our family and friends; came home for lunch with Mom and Dad, and then Dad had an afternoon of work ahead of him; so we were set free until dinnertime.
Naomi offered to host our play afternoon, and while we went biking and for a mid-afternoon swim; we also had some play time with her family – and Zack; a band practice; and an ice cream snack that followed the swim break. We had fun with all of that, but being happy with some of our favorite people really is the only important part of the story for our afternoon adventures. We came home in time to help Mom with making dinner; and as far as we know; none of our favorite home town families were having dinner at the Inn – ready for a break after a lot of extra visits throughout the summer. Don’t worry about Michael’s family – they’re good with business being a bit quieter; and that is relative; since weekend getaways and meetings are popular year-round now; and they did have a group at the Inn this weekend.
Our dinner-for-four was quiet; Mom and Dad were finished their work for the day by them; and we spent the evening hanging out together. We went for a walk after the clean-up; Mom did a Magi lesson with us that Dad helped out with; and we watched a movie in the living room before coming upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time for at least three of us. I will not comment on whether our parents had more fun than we need to know about between when we came upstairs and whenever they get some sleep. If you know us in the future while reading our journals and choose to speculate on that – don’t tell us! ;^)
Okay, that’s pretty much all for today. We didn’t spend much time with Cassie and Michael today, but they do have a life beyond us; and we just need to accept sharing them with everyone else – with that including everyone in the world that they will be helping over the next handful of decades and more. Maybe they’ll still be doing that in your ‘now’ whenever that is when you’re reading our journals; so you might know more about that than we do now! Maybe I’m getting tired, since I don’t really want to bend my mind around time-bending musings; so we’re out of here!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
