Ethan and Ehlana:
We don’t really have any news for today!
That sounds weird, but our last school day of the week was uneventful; we moved on to weekend chores after being set free for the weekend because of the rain in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow; and we chose getting the lawns mowed and as much of the rest of the outdoor work done today instead of needing to get wet tomorrow. We had a lot of friends and cousins working too; Naomi and Aiden were with us for all of our work at a total of five homes because we had multiple mowers going as we moved from yard-to-yard. A cameo visit with Cassie and Michael happened while at Aiden’s house, but they were working too and for the same reasons; so that blast of fun was kept short – as were most of the other little visits we had with others along the way.
We ended up working until after seven – closer to seven-thirty by the time we had everything put away for the night. A late dinner with Mom barely happened including the clean-up before Dad got home from the city; and we were all very tired by then. We helped with getting Dad’s luggage and gear into the house; our wind-down visit in the living room included a movie that none of us ended up watching through to the end; and bath or Jacuzzi time was next on the list for three of us while Dad probably just fell asleep after heading up to his room. Since we didn’t included them in that last part of the update, you may have guessed that Naomi and Aiden headed for their homes after the chores were wrapped up; and we chose not to do a sleepover anywhere tonight – though another night with our favorite cuddle buddies would have been nice too.
Naomi’s and Aiden’s families really do want to spend more time with them – especially after we were together for so much of the summer; so we need to work harder on sharing them – especially when Ehlana and I do plan on keeping them for forever once we’ve all grown up! ;^)
Moving along, that pretty much brings us up to now; we’re keeping the bedtime chat and computing short; and we really want to get some extra sleep tonight. Depending on what kind of weather we actually end up with tomorrow, we might not end up with much to do, but whatever our adventures end up being; we’ll be back at full power and ready for the fun! Stay tuned to find out how that goes for us; and we’ll wrap this up and get started on our nap time right now!
