Ethan and Ehlana:
Welcome to the family and our humble little town, Emma Dawn Jacobs! Congratulations to Violet, Dillon, and their families – it’s a girl!
That’s our top news of the day. Emma arrived at three-oh-six this morning; she’s a strong Magi; and helping out with the shielding really tired us out. We didn’t get to sleep until after five o’clock; only had time for a nap; and needed self-healing to be ready for our last day of the fall festival. We skipped Tai Chi this morning, had a hot breakfast, and then we headed for the park and a chilly church service that was outdoors despite the cool start to the day. The teens led that service, and while we were busy with that; the available members of the Rice clan hit the road for ‘home’ so that they could come and meet Emma. That was a one-day round trip for everyone except the great-grandparents; and we didn’t spend much time with any of them because we were set free to play at the park from after the service until the midway closed late this afternoon.
We wanted to do that with our cousins and best friends because this was the warmest day of the weekend. It warmed up into the mid-seventies; that was perfect for the thrill rides fun we had all afternoon; and we wrapped that up in time for the early buffet at the Inn with our family and quite a few of our friends. Thanks to Emma, most of our visitors stayed for that awesome meal; and then we were busy saying goodbye to most of them while the second buffet at the Inn was being enjoyed by most of the fall festival workers and volunteers.
Mom and Dad only had us with them when we headed home; we all did some work in the office and Mom did a Magi lesson with us; and then it was bath or Jacuzzi time for the tweens in the house. It isn’t really late yet, but we’re still wiped out now; so that’s all we have for this report. There was more news for the family and the festival too, but we’ll either just skip it or add more to our next report. For now, we really just need to crash and nap now – so we will.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
