Happy 23rd Birthday, Jen Wingborough!
We didn’t get to spend any time with Jen today thanks to a major rain day, but we’re sure that she’s having a happy day with help from her family and friends; and we’re all happy when our favorite Pizzeria owners are happy! ;^)
The big rain is the top news of the day. We really did get a lot of it; and that had everything to do with why we were indoors as much as possible. It also cooled down through the day from warmer this morning to cold tonight; though not cold-enough for the rain to turn icy or snowy. We had a quiet day at school; came home with Naomi and Aiden and had a long band practice that included getting ready for our first recording session for the Christmas album we’re going to make.
That was the fun highlight of our day; we had an easy-dinner with Mom and Dad; and then Ehlana and I headed for the lab to play there for a few hours. Ehlana had company in her lab; I was on my own in the archives; and we enjoyed getting into our favorite work for a while. We came home at ten o’clock; had a bedtime snack and visit with Mom and Dad; and now we’re winding down toward crashing into nap mode soon. This has still been a happy day even with the rain dump; and we can’t complain at all about that when the weather has generally been awesome so far this fall! It is time to get some sleep because we’re going to be very busy again tomorrow. Let’s save writing about any of those plans until tomorrow night, and we really don’t want to get into any world news tonight; so that’s all for this report.
