Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - October 11, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

Welcome to the extended family, Hannah Sinclair; and congratulations to Nadine, Malcolm, and the Sinclair and Johnson clans – it’s a girl!

That’s our top news of the day, and thanks to a somewhat rainy day; we don’t really have a lot of news to cover tonight.

It was much-warmer this morning, so Tai Chi by the river was nice.  We stayed dry beyond getting to school, but showers kept us indoors while there; and then more rain convinced us to work at the lab or archives after school instead of playing with our friends.  We had fun with that; got home in time for dinner; and then our evening adventures included a band practice; a Magi lesson with Mom; and some work in the office after Naomi and Aiden headed for their own homes.  That’s pretty much all we have, but we should have done a Cassie and Michael post-exams update; so let’s do that before we call it a night.

Marking mid-term exams was all-new for Michael, Rowen, and Tim, but Cassie helped them out with getting through the work; and they had everything done by Monday morning.  We haven’t mentioned it here, but it is amazing to have all of them working as T.A.’s when most of their friends don’t have anywhere near the same responsibilities for their Master’s degree programs.  We mean that from a small-town perspective; and that includes the fact that they are doing those jobs in four different programs.  That’ll be a tough act to follow when it’s our turn to be at college, but we’ll do our best; and try to live up to the legends! ;^)

Okay, I’m obviously too-tired to keep on with this report; so it is past-time to get some sleep!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
